ABOUT ME

I'm a Design Director/Senior Designer with more than 9 years' of experience in the luxury fashion and beauty sectors. I've worked for both Fortune 500 and start-up companies, where I have learned how to execute and manage under pressure with extreme attention to detail. I'm a firm believer that the best creative leaders combine aesthetics with strategy to help brands tell their stories.

I am currently a Design Director at Olivela, a fashion e-commerce start-up with a charity component. I started as a Sr. Digital Designer at Olivela and was promoted.

Previously, I was a Sr. Graphic Designer at Tommy Hilfiger in Creative Advertising (2 yrs). and Calvin Klein in Creative Advertising (4 yrs). Both of these opportunities taught me to work quickly under pressure with extreme attention to detail under often tight deadlines. I also learned the value of clear communication in managing a team of designers.

Prior to Calvin, I designed for MAC Cosmetics, among other brands as a freelancer. Before my design career, I worked in luxury beauty marketing at Estee Lauder and Clarins for 8+ years, giving me a unique and strategic approach to design.

I studied Graphic Design at Parsons, The New School (AAS). I studied Apparel Design at Virginia Tech University (BS).

I currently reside just outside of NYC with my husband and 3 children.
